Every traveler needs to apply for a visa to enter Madagascar, regardless of their nationality.
Thai citizens are eligible to apply for a Visa on Arrival or an e-Visa.
the e-Visa system is only applicable for tourist visa.
The traveler can apply for a visa at least 3 days (72 hours) before or up to 6 months before traveling to Madagascar

60 Days: 45 USD / 40 EUR
Note: You can extend your tourist visa for up to a total of 90 days
Health Requirements
A negative COVID-19 PCR test result is required for all international travelers coming to Madagascar. The negative PCR test must be issued within 72 hours before departure.
A COVID-19 vaccination proof is required for travelers coming to Madagascar with the last injection taken at least 14 days before departure.
Visa on Arrival Application Process
Thai citizens can got to Madagascar and get a visa on arrival.
At the airport, Thai citizens can go to Madagascar immigration counter.
Fill out the immigration form of Madagascar.
Submit the form and travel document to the immigration officer and pay the required visa fee.
Based on your documents you will be granted a visa for Madagascar.
Once you get the entry stamp, you can enter Madagascar and stay for the duration on your visa.
e-Visa Application Process
Step 1 :
Visit the official e-Visa website (link below) and click on "Apply for Visa". If it is your first application, click on "Register" and fill in your personal information to create your account. If you are already registered, you can log in and proceed with the application process.
Once you are logged into your account. Click on "Create a new request", click on "Online Application" and fill in the form.

Once you validate your application, it can take up to 72 hours for your e-Visa to be approved. Once you receive your landing authorization, you can download the e-Visa ticket into your phone or print it and present it at the e-Visa ticket counters on arrival
