The holder of a Malagasy passport should, if he/she settles abroad, register with the Embassy of the Republic of Madagascar in his/her host country within three months of his/her arrival in the consular district.

The validity of the Consular Card is 3 years.

Renewal of the Consular Card should be done at least 6 months before the expiration date

1. Consular Card Application Form duly filled out.
2. A written letter (demande manuscrite) requesting a consular card.
3. Two (2) recent passport size photos.
4. A photocopy of your passport
5. A photocopy of your visa
6. A Residency Certificate
7. A document stating the purpose of your stay (e.g. Work Permit, Student Certificate, etc...)
8. A Marriage certificate (if married)

These documents are to be mailed to the Embassy of Madagascar in Beijing.
